About the adventure
Potato Hill is a one-shot dungeon created for 3rd level player characters. The hill stands in the barren Stonelands claimed by Cormyr. A tower perched atop this hill was once a military outpost for that kingdom. Later, it was home to a wealthy recluse who left it to distant relatives in his will. Now, the deed to the tower is in your hands, and the tower can be yours if you can conquer Potato Hill.

About me
Hosted podcasts, won a D&D tournament, and GM'd hundreds of sessions using dozens of different systems. But so what? Yes, I create interesting adventures, talk in funny voices, and orchestrate cinematic fight scenes, but you breathe life into it by joining my games. The best story centers on your character, not my NPCs, the monsters you're killing, nor some plot object you're trying to find. Creating fun, believable universes is my passion, yet it's all just a backdrop for your adventures!

Creating your character
Please create a 3rd level character using standard array. Choose an uncommon magic item but please no evil, loners, haunted ones, psionics, blood hunters, Ravenloft, fiend warlocks, edgelords, or other horror/spooky characters. Please run it by me if you want to add homebrew elements or are using sources that aren't "official." My Discord tag is Norker#9509.
* great way to meet other D&D players * fun for noobies and grognards alike * contact me to request this session on a different day or time
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord and microphone are essential. Dice rolling will be done through Discord. Create your character on DND Beyond, or Roll20, or however you prefer. You don't need to create a backstory or show me your character, but please see the above guidelines about character creation.

How John the Norker creates a safe table
Expect a somewhat light-hearted dungeon crawl with equal emphasis on combat, exploration, and roleplaying. This adventure may contain depictions of violence, torture, cruelty, and prejudice that may make some players uncomfortable, but I do tread carefully and generally run a PG game.
