About the adventure
This is a 5th edition D&D game for player both new and veteran alike. You are adventurers in the current D&D setting of Faerûn. You mean to prove yourselves, and make some gold, by taking different jobs from the local job posting board. The bigger the reward for a job, the greater the danger! Who knows what dangers await you. What jobs will you choose, and what jobs... will choose you...

About me
I've DMed for 25 years, D&D and Star Wars. I'm a big "YES" DM when it comes to players wanting to make choices. The game should always be fun, but the story should also be serious. I use Roll20 for maps, tokens and art, and I use a lot of these assets in my games. Discord or Zoom for audio, and sometimes optional video. I like my games to usually be equal parts social interaction, fighting and puzzles. I also am big on doing NPC voices, and encourage my players to find their own PC's voice. Creating your character
Characters will start off at 1 level lower than our current PCs. You can create a character before the game, or I can help you create one, also before the game starts. We will be using standard array scores for base ability scores: 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8. All RAW options are available. for your characters. Blank character sheets will be available in the Roll 20 game for you to fill out.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should make sure they have Discord and Roll 20 installed (both are free). Please check your microphone on discord prior to game. Dice, tokens and character sheets are all provided for free on Roll 20.

How ViperHide creates a safe table
We will use microphones and Discord for chat, and Roll 20 for maps, tokens and handouts. We will be using D&D 5th Edition rules. A free copy of the basic rules can be downloaded here: http://media.wizards.com/2018/dnd/downloads/DnD_BasicRules_2018.pdf. Players can expect equal amounts of fighting, roleplay and puzzle solving. However, some jobs lean heavier towards each of those three elements.
