I have played in three campaigns with Ron as the DM, one that concluded (epically, I might add), and now three others that are ongoing--one online and one in person. I have also just run a few one-shots with him and some great players and he really gave space for us to dive into our characters even ina short setting! He dusted off Star Frontiers for a few of us and is quite flexible in trying more than one system. I have personally now played D&D, Pathfinder, and Star Frontiers with him and he is concientious in the rules but always in support of the story. What I love about sitting at a table with him (literally or technologically) is that his number one priority is always that the people at the table have a chance to tell the story of their characters and are true to their characters even if it, quite often, throws his plans out the window. It's not just that it is a priority, it's that he enjoys the game when everyone else is enjoying it. He communicates well, and checks in on players and their characters to make sure we are on track for what we want to achieve. I think that if you are willing to invest in your characters and the characters of the other people at the table--you can find no better DM to walk that story with you!
