with the era of less crunchy games in full swing Pathfinder 2e has come to the table with just a hair more crunch than it's contemporaries and significantly less than it's predecessors all in the effort to bring a game that provides players structure and agency as you upgrade your character. Simultaneously creating wild and creative choices and retaining the same expected power level between builds of same levels. At first glance the choices and options are daunting, but so are those at a fast food burger joint until you realize the options just look imposing and really you just need to decide with or without cheese, with or without special sauce, and if you really needed that extra patty. Personally, I'm getting the burger with extra sauce and a plus four dagger! Pick through the rules, make a character or fifty, find a table and have fun.
