For those moderately experienced in Dungeons and Dragons 5e and are seeking out a DM that; -Supports player choices (whether good or bad) -Consistently make significant effort to make sure that the player character actually impacts the world setting -Plays a fair balance between rule of cool and rules as written -Runs the game as based off Character's actions, I.E. doesn't force roleplay but also doesn't force unnecessary encounters, let's the players guide the story. -Adds in homebrew or tweak encounters to keep veteran players on their toes (while still having the encounter being balanced) -Acts in a professional manner tldr after a year of playing with this DM I would highly recommend.
Awesome DM so far. Great Visuals, great pacing, really takes player input well, and ability to do different voices very well. Use of Roll20 was okay (typical roll20 issues) but the DM didn't really have control over that, but once the issues were resolved our group had a solid time playing. Roll playing was not required but encouraged by the DM allowed players to play their characters naturally instead of thinking "what would my character do" the players would think "what should my character do" leading to an overall better role playing experience. End of the day, highly recommend. Updated Review with over a year of player with the DM. Everything great about the above review still stands, but none of the above issues are a problem anymore with the switch to FoundryVTT. Highlights for the DM are the following; -Understands the game mechanics at a high level, and tweaks the combat mechanics in a fun and interesting way. -Supportive of player actions and roleplaying -Allows the option for encounters to be solved with wit instead of murder -Constantly improves the game by bringing in tweaks with technology, I.E. having actually character models instead of tokens with different poses. -Master story teller, really engages you into the story. -Has a wide range of voice acting -Is always rooting for the player but does not pull punches (Does not fub dice rolls in favor for the player or monsters) TLDR Highly recommend
