Sam's a very helpful, patient and engaged GM. We're starting our regular Daggerheart campaign set in Barovia and sofar the pacing and game mechanics are enjoyable. I'd recommend this for anyone interested in learning more of the system and enjoying a friendly, open atmosphere and after-game care.

A no-frills / no holds barred romp through the Citadel of the Lost Minotaur brought out a good few of the classic dungeon-crawling tropes that could be expected (and that's a GOOD thing ! lol): we almost split the party, met fun denizens then not-so-fun ones, and the session ended with a bang.... quite literally. In conclusion: Trent is a solid GM that will deliver. Join his table with your eyes closed, but bring in some torches !

No questions here, Dwayne not only showed complete mastery of the GM craft, but it's also clear he fully understands what makes a successful old-school gaming session: patient teaching, fun NPCs, nice voice acting, thorough prep all set within a simple yet aesthetically pleasing VTT (Owlbear Rodeo), combined with smart design choices and great pacing made his Shadowdark RPG session the most enjoyable I've ever played by far... Definite must for those who seek to game further & deeper. 10/10

I'll simply say this: I've been GMing / DMing for D&D since I was 13 (yes, that's 1987), I've ran and played a number of systems since that time, including D&D B/X, 2e (AD&D), 3.5e, 5e as well as Call of Cthulhu, Savage Worlds, Monster Of The Week, Pathfinder 2nd Edition, Star Wars FFG, Dungeon World, Shadowdark RPG, CYPHER, Cairn 2e, Blacksword Hack and many more and THIS IS (imho) THE BEST SYSTEM I'VE EVER MET. - incredibly simple to learn - still exciting and tactical but not from rules only, also from your own imagination - very fluid and great for EPIC and ACTION-PACKED sessions ! (p.s: WotC = Eat Yer Heart Out ! muhuhahaaaaa) As far as Ozzy (aka PK)'s job as a Game Master, don't let their somewhat exotic slavic accent deter you: not only do they have an amazing control of the english language, but their ability to think on their feet and keep the adventure beats pumping forward is absolutely on point. The use of simple but efficient tools like Google Sheets for character upkeep, neat drawing apps for intuitive and interactive world design and the ability to refer to screenshots to clear / remember points of rules, combined with a nifty discord bot for dice rolls tailor-made to this system guarantees a fluid, no-holds-barred game pace that will delight all those tired of the crunch of endless combat rounds from crunchier systems ! Worth a shot, and probably more than a shot imho: A DEFINITE RECOMMEND !!!
