Had a great time in an introductory one-shot to 5e. The experience went progressively through learning modules starting with roll20 platform - character creation - quick setting intro - skill checks - beginner quest - level up. The GM had good pacing with natural checkpoints for questions and answers, as well as a few side-bars "above board" to explain gaming aspects and norms. Good use of background music at enhancing key moments that wasn't distracting or overwhelming. The GM wove the player choices well, while also dropping necessary hints for a party of beginners. Definitely recommend this GM to anyone who wants to try this for the first time - couldn't believe 5 hours flew by!
