I've played a few sessions with Spider so far, and can't give him enough praise. He keeps the pace very well without railroading. Your choices feel significant and he is extremely smooth about adapting the narrative to fit your chosen path in a way that gives you agency. If you want to talk down the enemy, he'll let you try. If you want to surrender, it's on the table. He yes-ands, and he knows when to say no. His NPCs feel alive with their own personalities and motivations. He keeps combat moving very efficiently and handles large scale battles with intelligent enemies without a moment's hesitation. I've been having a blast and hope more people get to find a great game with Spider. He runs an awesome table.
