About me

I’m an experienced DM who’s currently looking to join a game as a player. I love running games, but I also really value time on the other side of the screen — especially in campaigns that feel like a shared, evolving story rather than a set of rails. What I’m really looking for is a table where player choices genuinely matter. I enjoy games where actions have consequences, the world reacts, and the story grows naturally from what the group does — not just from what’s written in the DM’s notes. I’m keen to play with a group of players who actively engage with each other, not just take turns talking to the DM. Party dynamics, relationships, disagreements, loyalty, and shared history are the bits of D&D that really bring a campaign to life for me. While I enjoy combat and tactical play, I honestly get the most joy from the small, human moments: Getting drunk in a tavern after a hard fight Being creative with low-level or simple spells Leaning into character flaws and quiet scenes Letting the story breathe from all angles, not just the epic ones I also appreciate a degree of realism and risk in games. I’m not looking to lose characters for the sake of it, but I do enjoy the tension that comes from knowing there’s no plot armour — that choices, mistakes, and bravery all carry weight. For me, that risk-reward balance is what makes D&D feel different from a video game. Above all, I’m looking for a collaborative table: a DM who’s open to player agency, and players who want to build something memorable together.
