Jon was great guiding us through waterdeep heist as well as a custom one shot. He made descriptions that made it easy to envision the scene and kept combat feeling interesting. I appreciated that he made succeseful checks feel earned, and failures feel natural rather than the game just punishing you. His improv is funny when the scene needs it and can keep a moment feeling grounded when a moment should feel grounded. I would always be happy to be a player at his table.
