This has been a genuinely great game to be part of, both during sessions and outside of them. This review is from me and my partner, and one of the things that has stood out most is how supportive and encouraging Tyler has been in helping her feel comfortable in her very first D&D campaign. He’s been patient, clear, and genuinely encouraging, creating an environment where a new player feels included rather than overwhelmed. That care and attention has made a huge difference and has really helped her enjoy and grow into the game. Outside of sessions, Tyler has built a strong and welcoming out-of-game community. There’s regular contact between sessions, open communication, and a space where players can stay engaged with the story, their characters, and each other. Conversations flow naturally — we’ve talked about D&D, character ideas, Magic: The Gathering, and plenty of other shared interests. It’s made the group feel relaxed and connected, and the game feels like something ongoing rather than something that only exists during session time. In-game, Tyler is prepared, flexible, and responsive. Player choices clearly matter, roleplay is encouraged, and the pacing feels well judged. Rules knowledge is solid, but it’s always applied with a focus on fun and flow rather than rigidity or interruption. Most importantly, Tyler comes across as a genuinely good, down-to-earth person. He’s easy to talk to, approachable, and clearly enjoys bringing people together around games. We really look forward to continuing to enjoy sessions with this group and would be more than happy to see Tyler bringing more people into his games and helping more players share in that experience. Overall, this has been a very positive and enjoyable campaign, and we’d happily recommend Tyler to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-run game with a strong sense of community.
