Parry Bates

As a new player to this site, and relatively new to D&D, I wasn't 100% sure about what I was looking for in a GM...I was just hoping to have an enjoyable game, and Mason delivered more than I could have asked for! His friendly and relaxed conduct took all of the stress of being a new player out of the equation, and his storytelling allowed me a deep connection with my character; experiencing unexpected inner conflicts, moments of character-led impulsivity and a resonance that went beyond an action packed session, instead, facilitating a journey of discovery and immersion as my character. Combat was smooth and tense, even with an inexperienced table, and the adventure itself had an emotionally climactic decision point which truly mattered to me. All of this is testament to his skill as a GM, and I look forward to playing more games at his table.
