Bruno aka The Deep Dice was a nice, welcoming and mindful Dungeon Master for a prison-break themed One-Shot. He took his time to describe the context of the adventure, sent everyone backgrounds and information about the adventure, let everyone fill out a list of green-lit and no-go topics, sent everyone link to get Roll20 and D&D Beyond running and even helped everyone with technicalities before the game started. Once the adventure started, he was descriptive, gave us time to role play, and did not try to move on the one-shot at all costs by keeping a time-table, despite reminding us of the time left to play. We were free in our interactions and he was very permissive with the rule system, letting everyone have their "yes, and..." moments instead of denying things "just because". If he did not know a rule or two he quickly checked them or let the more experienced among us check them with Player's Handbook at hand. He used Handouts, a nice map for the tactical encounters and had implemented several degrees of failure, so that good NPC rolls or bad rolls from our side did not immediately mean the end of the session. Even if I am not someone that enjoys virtual D&D, I had a fun night with him and the other players!
