I came back to Dungeons & Dragons after some time away and mostly just needed a refresher, but the Dungeon Master went above and beyond what I expected. He was incredibly patient and never made me feel rushed or awkward for asking questions, even basic ones. Every rule, mechanic, and option was explained clearly and in a way that was easy to understand, which made getting back into the game feel natural instead of overwhelming. What really stood out was how engaging the campaign was, even though I was the only player. He put real effort into the story, the world, and the encounters, making it feel just as immersive and meaningful as a full group game. I never felt like the experience was watered down because it was one-on-one — if anything, it felt more personal and tailored to my character. Overall, it was a genuinely fun and welcoming experience. I learned a lot, felt supported the entire time, and most importantly, had a great time playing. I’d absolutely recommend him to anyone new to D&D or returning after a break who wants a patient, knowledgeable, and creative Dungeon Master.
