If you're looking for a DM that's new player friendly, then you've found a great one. A few sessions in I foolishly wandered a little too far off from the party and got ambushed and paralyzed. Rules as written I should have died outright from damage, but they let me get a call for help out and even let me make saving throws. This is my first real campaign and I'm loving it. They let the players set the pace with role play we're comfortable with and will offer guidance when we're uncertain.
