I am a first time D&D player who was completely baffled by the "Player's Handbook". Almost gave up but found Spencer's "Learn To Play D&D" campaign and decided to give it a shot. Glad I did. Spencer did a great job of explaining all aspects of the game - character creation, rules, game flow, etc. in a way that was understandable and accessible. His approach is upbeat, positive, and fun with a healthy dose of encouragement. After the "classroom" portion of our session, Spencer led our group on a mini campaign designed to give us practical experience with what we had learned. You can tell he loves what he does and it was obvious he had put a lot of work into making the campaign fun for us noobies. If you're on the fence about D&D or baffled by the complexity of the game, give one of Spencer's "Learn D&D" campaigns a shot. You will leave equipped with what you need to know to play D&D and have fun doing it.
