Great at keeping plot moving without feeling railroaded. In a haunted house he would describe our protection candles slowly burning lower, or another subtle detail when we fixated on pointless rabbit holes. Kept the tension up and felt like our decision to keep moving. Another time we played an 8-person sci-fi game, and he managed to give everyone adequate time and attention. Anyone who DMs knows that's some complex juggling. Knows the rules completely but also knows when to bend them for an awesome moment. Highly recommend
