Apollo as a GM tends to heavily emphasize on the depth of story, and its narrative weight on both the characters, and the setting around them. They are able to keep the flow through “Yes, and-ing”, as well as put together a cohesive narrative entirely based around the storybeats of each individual character, and when the need arises, between multiple characters even when the backstories are entirely different. What is also nice are the consequences, good or bad, that arise entirely from the player’s decisions. This includes how NPCs behave towards the player, and how the setting reacts around them. Their storytelling style is primarily that of a cinematic style, akin to visualizing a film at a cinema. If there are railroads, they are well hidden to the point of being undetectable, and natural feeling like they were always meant to happen. Additionally Apollo allows for a good amount of player creativity, and character expression so long as they fit within the set rules of D&D 5th Edition.
