Two sessions in, this campaign has offered a great blend of roleplaying and combat that requires strategy without being an overly hard slog. But what I am really enjoying so far is how Garrett tweaks a premade campaign to account for the back stories of the characters--placing backstory characters at risk to provide urgent motivation, giving different checks to the natives of the dale vs the new arrivals, etc.

Had a great time playing a creative, Jurassic-Park themed adventure, which needless to say was a blast, given it's one of my favorite movies. I can say Matt did a good job setting up the story, going over the rules, and knowing said rules, and handled several curve balls we threw his way.

Have been in like 10 sessions so far and all have been very fun, engaging, and exciting! Had a fast-paced combat that was just about the right level of difficulty and a lot of cool maps and fun roleplaying scenarios outside the battle. I love the balance of tactics and character development present in our game.
