First time playing Daggerheart. Nicole took us through an engaging story session that allowed us to build our understanding of the rule mechanics as the various encounters progressed. And despite this being an introductory session, it never felt like we were on rails. Nicole made sure every player was engaged and given opportunities to creatively contribute to the narrative as our story played out organically. It was a lot of fun to learn Daggerheart in this way. As a GM, Nicole started promptly and she was well prepared. Her pacing and time management were excellent; we finished the storyline right at the allocated time limit for the session.
