About me

I'm just a silly little guy (gender neutral). I have the most experience with D&D 5e and 5.5e (call it that officially wotc, you cowards). A bit of experience with: Daggerheart, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Heart, and Delta Green. As you can see, I love trying new systems. I'm a quick learner so it's never really been an issue picking a new one up. I'm AuDHD, have an as-yet undiagnosed autoimmune disorder, and get frequent headaches and migraines. So sometimes I might request not being cold called; I do make this desire clear before each session begins. I love helping other people, so if you're another player in a game with me, please feel free to reach out. You'd be doing me a favor, honestly — I love having Tasks I can Accomplish. I was a teacher before my health became too bad to continue, and according to the kids and my friends I'm a pretty good one. So again, *please* reach out if you have questions or want help building a character.

Emi's game was my first introduction to Heart: the City Beneath. They provided pre-gen characters ready to go as well as gave us the option to make our own. They had a through consent checklist (it IS a horror ttrpg) and asked clarifying questions to make sure they fully understood everyone's limits. Emi was very knowledgeable about the game and was open and personable enough that we all felt comfortable asking questions. Their delivery on the horror aspects was amazing. Definitely would recommend to others and hope to play under them again!

Played my first CoC game with Derek. He was excellent at going over the rules and mechanics without it feeling like a lecture. His storytelling was very immersive and he allowed for a lot of player freedom while also giving newer players hints at important parts of the story.
