About me
Hi there, I'm Hardy German: native English: good conversation level Pen & Paper FRPG since 1978 (yes, I am that old!) As a teen, I played a lot of D&D. Soon I found class-less, skill-based d100 rules superior by far. I eventually found RuneQuest and enjoyed it much more due to the engaging play and sense of realism. AD&D, RuneQuest as GM and player Top Secret, Shadowrun (Setting only, not its awkward rules) as player Online with Roll20 since 2020/5 https://glorantha.steff.in/spielersuche.html

We played Runequest Glorantha. The setting allows for – and indeed encourages – the integration of the game world as if it were a character in its own right. Chris brought the cultures and religions of the peoples into play and prepared an introductory session for us, in which we interacted with Glorantha and got to know Chris’s version. That is the essence of RQG, and I hope it continues this way. Theatre of the Mind is more important to him than simulation, and that fits perfectly.
I played a one-shot Discworld adventure. It was full of humour and theatre of the mind, as opposed to the rule-heavy simulations I usually play. As a GM, Japes has the talent to improvise to cope with the unexpected ideas of the crazy players, which is par for the course in Discworld. It was a great story and great fun!
