What an amazing campaign I had the pleasure of experiencing with Spencer. He had the nigh-impossible task of DMing for a group of players who all knew each other ahead of time and are notoriously difficult to play with. Yet despite this challenge, Spencer came prepared with his own world and his own story that not only met my expectations, but exceeded them at every point. From big battles to small skirmishes, he was able to keep the combat interesting from session to session with small flavorful descriptions and interactions. Rule of Cool is an understatement because he let us do all sorts of wacky and fun things without ever compromising the integrity of the system or his story. He listened to what we wanted as players, and was able to add extra bits and pieces to the world building and adventures to fit our wants while also keeping the group on track for the greater plot (which was awesome by the way and ended in a massive Helm's Deep battle). Spencer also had a plethora of maps and handouts that he made to compliment the world, and he roleplayed amazingly with a variety of voices, accents, and even the occasional voice-modulated assisted creature. You won't go wrong playing with him, and if you also get the pleasure of being able to, don't hesitate. All hail Warlord Siv, the new goblin king.
