About me

Henlo! My name is Prince, I'm a multi-media based artist and published poet with a certification in sequential art (comic art, it means comic art, RISD why are you so pretentious). I am disabled and my chronic pain condition can occasionally make my speech slur or cause aphasia, a condition wherein words are forgotten (I was a neuroscience nerd in hs), I promise I'm not playing inebriated if this happens! It's just a bad pain day! It doesn't reach a point of being unintelligible, thankfully, you will still understand me! I am slightly deaf as defined by any major hearing loss but I can handle that by adjusting volume on my side usually, if webcams are involved that also helps with reading lips. I do hope people are amenable to this, these handicaps can be embarrassing, especially when I'm out and about at a goth night or a cosplay convention. I'm from the east coast, I lived in LA for a little bit, I'm part of a horror film production company and do a lot of sfx work and acting with them. I'm also a trained singer but that seems less relevant than my history as a poet both published and of the slam variety. I made a whole human (he is four and very cool) and I rescue bearded dragons (currently hanging out with my boy Ricky - he has a purple dragon wing harness and it is very cute). I make my living through witchery shenanigans and cyberbullying men on Twitter, both are a Whole Thing and Very Entertaining but not really relevant, I guess? I'm somewhat new to playing dnd, I've finally played in a 5e campaign and one shot, the one ttrpg I was able to play before that was a homebrew lovecraftian mystery and it was super fun! This is very ironic for someone who lived in a place called Alfheim with a literal tavern where people would play dnd. All their games were full. Trust me, I asked, haha! I love role-playing as characters, i do have a background as an actor and cosplayer, I love telling stories and being part of stories told, I love collaborating with people to create stories - I go in pretty deep for back stories when I can and I am definitely a Note Taker. I will 100% dedicate a notebook or binder with sticky flags to what's happening. I hope to find folks with whom i can tell tales and create an adventure we'll all remember!! Also friends! I'd like to be friends! That would be neat! My schedule is pretty open given the whole Disabled thing, I chose nights as my availability because of my son though his father and grandpa can watch him if an earlier game is preferred. I do gm a fallout ttrpg at my local tcg store, so I have been on both sides of the table and I'm the kind of gm who shows up with props, voices, detailed maps for any location, and lore that is far deeper than probably necessary as the campaign itself is homebrew. I have a lot of respect for my gms because of this!
