I have been playing D&D for 10 years as of writing this. I say this with full honesty when I say I have found my best Dm, best group, and best game in my life. I am playing Odyssey of the Dragonlords with Ted and I want to keep joining his other games now. Right up front he takes safety tools and player needs seriously! I have my own lines and veils and he continues to remember and honor them! Let's talk about characters and creativity. This group is a 5-star cast of creative people. Willing to engage with the narrative, intercharacter roleplay and backstories that should be published. Ted takes each story and carefully executes arcs of the story to engage each character's stories. Ted uses Roll20 with expertise to ensure a map is always ready, combat can be exciting and handled efficiently, and he knows the rules well to keep the flow of the game. That's another thing! Ted's pacing! I never feel bored!! I have checked out form other games but he is able to constantly keep players engaged and ensure we stay on track, even if we go on conversational tangents. He's a professional cat herder. Ted is an incredible DM. I hope my wall of text does his talent and skills justice. If not: TL;DR: Go join a game with Ted. You are in for the best adventure yet.
