Rune

I've played with Derek for about 3 years now, finished Curse of Strahd, and currently play in two of his campaigns. As a GM he's a great narrator and storyteller, who spins the story around the players making their choices and actions feel meaningful. Both as a GM and as a person he has the experience to handle almost everything the players throw at him without losing a step. I've experienced him handling character deaths, party conflicts, the players jumping one by one into a portal on purpose ending up in different parts of Barovia almost getting themselves killed (that was a dumb move, but I'm not sorry, I had a blast.). All while he kept the game fun and engaging. To finish this review off, I'll keep it simple. He' fun to play with, a great DM, and a great person. Try him out.
