I played a one-shot with Benjamin and had an amazing time. He was incredibly good with first-time players. I was the only experienced one at the table, and thanks to him I never felt like I was there to support the group. He handled the natural chaos of a first-time party with so much ease, keeping the game flowing without ever making anyone feel rushed or confused. His NPCs were genuinely a highlight! He roleplayed each one with distinct personalities and voices, which made every interaction fun and memorable. The story he prepared for the one-shot was captivating from beginning to end, with plenty of moments that pulled us in.

Defhan is a Game Master who turns the challenges of playing online RPGs into opportunities, engaging players in a way that offers a very different experience from playing at a table. The depth of the worlds he creates and the stories he writes always impress me. In our D&D 5e campaign, which has been ongoing intermittently for two years with him as DM, I have had the opportunity to play different characters. He made every moment, from the character creation phase to saying goodbye to them (yes, my character died, but that was my choice), enjoyable and unforgettable. Recently, I played in a Daggerheart one-shot he ran, and I can say he is equally skilled at running comedic stories as he is at running dramatic ones. Daggerheart was a system I had never played before, and Defhan explains everything in the simplest way possible for beginners, without making it boring. Thanks to him, I really loved this system and definitely want to play it again. In a single sentence, he is the person who made me fall in love with TTRPGs.
