If you like role play inclined campaigns, with fights that make sense, rather than being there for the sake of combat, you are in the right place. When there are fights, they will always be fair if you are meant to be there, and every hopeless situation will always have a way out, if you manage to find out how. Backstories are important, because he will use them to shape the events your characters will go through, and he will always reward good role play. You want to get price reductions on the shop? Haggle it. Want your cool moments? Earn them through actions rather than the chance of the dice. Expect to be put in harsh situations if you don't think things through. If the dices hate you for whatever reason, you can get leeway if you play your cards right. On a more subjective note, he's been our GM for 5 years now, and I played in 6 campaigns so far, each with their own unique theme. Those worlds, ranging from power fantasy to sci-fi, wild west and grimdark had an unforgettable story where choices mattered, and to top it all of, the flexibility we were offered regarding cool or emotional moments made it all worth it.
