Ace is AMAZING! Very knowledgeable about D&D 5e but still emphasizes creativity and never tries to force us into one path or solution. She trusts her players to solve the puzzle and move the story forward in a way that will be fun for them, and she always remembers the fact that DMs are playing WITH their players, not against them. I feel like I'm a part of the story in every possible way, both because of the agency the party has in deciding it and also because of the visual aids, music, voices, and life that Ace gives NPCs and the world. She never takes herself too seriously and is always happy to teach new players whatever they need to know and refresh more experienced players on less obvious mechanics. After every session she asks for feedback because its clear that the player experience is so important to her, and every time the feedback reflects how great of a DM she is.
