We started with a Learn to Play Daggerheart one-shot, then another one-shot, and now we're six sessions into Colossus of the Drylands, and I can confidently say this has been one of the best TTRPG experiences I’ve ever had. Our group includes me, my son, and my nephews, and to put it simply, they are silly, unruly, and chaos goblins in the best possible way. Mena handles all of it with grace, humor, and skill. She doesn’t just tolerate their energy; she channels it into the story, making the world feel alive, personal, and entirely ours. Every session feels like collaborative storytelling at its best, where even the wildest player antics are woven back into the world in meaningful and hilarious ways. She’s a fantastic teacher, deeply knowledgeable about Daggerheart (and TTRPGs in general), and always generous with her time and creativity. Whether you're new to the system or a seasoned player, you’ll feel welcomed, empowered, and inspired to play boldly. Highly recommend—especially if you want a game that balances heart, humor, and chaos in all the best ways.
