Apogee Martinez

Malachi is a great DM who clearly puts a lot of care into the game and the players at the table. What stands out most is how intentional he is about making sure everyone feels included. He’s responsive and approachable, even outside of game sessions, and it’s clear he puts in a lot of effort behind the scenes to make the experience run smoothly. One thing I really appreciate is his emphasis on safety. I joined his Drakkenheim campaign and felt more comfortable knowing what kind of content was and wasn’t on the table—and that everyone else had that same understanding. He takes it seriously, but it never gets in the way of the story or the fun. It’s also worth noting that this table uses a lot of tools—Foundry, various websites, and some extra reading. Foundry in particular can be a bit overwhelming if you’re not used to it, but Malachi knows it well and does a good job helping players get the hang of it. If you’re into detailed systems and worldbuilding, this group will be a great fit. If you’re less tech-savvy, there’s a learning curve—but the support is there.

Had a great and fun game with a smaller party! Great re-introduction to the updated rules.
