The positive: Celtic consistently reaches out to each player to make sure they are adding their narrative to the story. Whether it was exploration, combat, or decision making, she was aware of each player's contributions and made sure we each had contributed. The Opportunities: Learning a new system like Daggerheart can be challenging. While Celtic had participated in a few betas, it was clear she was new to the system and a little under prepared. A few times, the players had to chime in to explain the rules, (what adv does, how combat works, etc). Her narrative skill needs some help. The adventure started with, "So you're delivering a package........Um.............what do you want to do?" Many time there were long gaps in her storytelling, which was hard if we're doing theater of the mind. Overall: If you're looking for an inclusive GM who cares for each member of the party, look no further than Celtic. If you looking to learn the new Daggerheart system, I would explore other options.
