Dean is simultaneously able to create safe play environments and gut-stirring horror. I truly couldn't ask for a better storyteller. As a trans person dealing with today's world, I find Dean's welcoming and LGBTQ+ atmosphere a safe harbor in a world of chaos, even when the game is chaos. It's a rare talent when a storyteller can ground reality with fantasy. I have played with Dean across 6 systems/splats and the story is always engaging and well thought out. Expect to invest a good amount of effort in your character and backstory, because Dean will use it to your entertainment, if not your benefit. If you want to play Chronicles of Darkness, I can't think of a better GM. I'm not just brownnosing for extra experience either, I actually genuinely consider Dean MY DM (I will share), and one of my best friends. If you haven't given Dean a try, you're missing out.
