Noralf has a deep and clear understanding of the game and mechanics. He’s happy to teach and bring people along, resulting in very little time wasted on rules debates and more time spent on story and advancing the plot. He applies the Rule of Cool when players try something creative and moves through combat and skills checks easily. Noralf enjoys creative voicing and roleplaying through conflict. He is always well-prepared and ready to play the characters he brings to the game. I really enjoy the roleplay he encourages among players. One other thing of note: Noralf does a great job of integrating technology into the VTT experience. He uses rule bots to avoid wasting time looking things up, has another bot that keeps ambient music going, and yet another bot that records our sessions and then produces session notes for us automatically. All of this is great because it allows us to spend even more time on playing the story and less time dickering with rules and mechanics.
