I've been playing a 5.5e campaign with Leo for over a year, with mostly new players and some veterans, and would highly recommend him as a DM. He has done an excellent job of balancing the storytelling, combat, and roleplay while tailoring the experience to player prefences/party vibes, and seamlessly weaving character backstories into the narrative. Our party constantly feels challenged, but never railroaded. Where other DM's might grow frustrated with our party's penchant for rules-lawyering and some moderate-meta gaming, Leo has been very patient and responded by tweaking the campaign and difficulty to better suit our party's desire to get deep into the weeds of strategy and optimization.
