I really enjoyed my daggerheart one shot with Ajna! The scene descriptions were detailed and vivid and the NPC interactions felt genuine. Ajna ensured the party had strong interpersonal ties at the beginning as well, which ensured we felt connected and could build off of each other.

-- Update (after 20 Sessions) Review -- I look forward to every game I have with Dan - each session it feels like the party makes progress and has a new point of interest (new adversary, new NPC, or new environment). Our party feels like a long standing group of friends and Dan makes sure everyone has time in the spotlight (and we don't descend into 30 min of making puns instead of making a decision). Both of our campaigns have different tones (fun/goofy vs serious/political) and Dan handles both masterfully. Can't wait for the next adventure. -- Original (First Session) Review -- I had a great time learning to play Daggerheart with Dan! He gave a great overview of the game before we started and explained the nuances as we progressed through the story. He also kept the whole party engaged in building the story and I think we all had an enjoyable time.
