I came across an open table ran by DC and since joining over a year ago I've learned so much about playing D&D with a fun and safe table. He's very fair to players without coddling them and his world building and story telling is fun without being overwhelming for new players. He's very open to collaboration re: PC goals and backstory and does his best to make sure we don't die unceremoniously (while providing realistic/fair consequences to player shenanigans). He's my favorite DM (after my bae) and I highly recommend him to both new and experienced players who are looking for an immersive and fun experience!
