About me

I started playing D&D Basic back in the 80's. After relocating to a remote location in Northern Canada my gaming transitioned to play by post on one of the original message board sites in the 90's. That ended and I had a long drought from playing until we got a game going here 5 or 6 years ago. Problem was the all too common scheduling issues. So all the games have dried up. I am retired, except for a summer job working in the local tourism industry. So my schedule is wide open. My gaming philosophy is how can I entertain Myself, the other players and the DM by playing interesting characters. I hate min/maxing, and prefer the odd ball/non traditional characters over superheroes. As a note about me, I alluded to tourism in a remote Northern town. I live in the Polar Bear Capital of the World, and work the summer months for a Beluga Whale Watching company. Prior to retiring I worked for 35 years for a Canadian National Park.
