I’ve played in a wide range of short and long-form D&D games run by Josh over several years and I have been blown away by every single one. Josh builds and runs campaigns that are truly the most immersive and vibrant games I’ve ever played in and he somehow always makes it look so easy. His level of proficiency with game systems and tools like Roll20 and Discord is incredibly high. That coupled with his eye for detail, creativity, knack for storytelling, and unique ability to craft specific and enjoyable experiences for players makes all of his games feel seamless, captivating, personal, and polished. All of the games of his I’ve played in have had memorable life-like characters, professional level sound and visual design, meaningful player choices, and a sense of real and compelling stakes. His combat encounters are balanced, dynamic, and so engaging. His lore, settings, and characters feel rich and alive. Josh also does a great job at community building and group facilitation. He’s committed to safety, inclusivity, and providing a fun and welcoming atmosphere—things that are particularly important to me as a queer woman in online gaming spaces. I’m really grateful that I’ve gotten to participate in his campaigns and I’d absolutely recommend his games to anyone looking for a wildly fun, super memorable, and very special TTRPG experience.
