AnimancyPress is a great DM in my opinion. I'm currently (as of typing this) in two "Curse of Strahd" campaigns of his and he makes them feel quite different despite using the same main story. From my experience, he balances role playing and gameplay very well while giving the players plenty of wiggle room with their choices and actions. He's always willing to help the player if they're having trouble or just offer a different option that the player doesn't see. He's even been willing to make slight changes to a story to accommodate a player's idea for their character development. While I'm not exactly a beginner DnD player, I have seen him work with newer or less experienced players to build their character sheets or aid with actions in combat. Lastly, I think he's a pretty chill DM. He's always letting my groups joke around and make playful banter or just talk amongst ourselves to plan out our next actions. Now, I am a player who joined for free but I will say that I would pay for the sessions if I had the money.
