Leo was the guy who helped me get into DnD. I hadn’t really anticipated much, hadn’t really considered participating. When Leo called me up one day, I just kinda thought it would be fun for a weekend or so, and it wouldn’t go anywhere. Cut to five years later, that same campaign is still going on. The world building is amazing; he creates plots out of thin air and a couple throwaway lines in a backstory. He designed an entire continent based off of my exiled bard not being from the area we were doing the campaign in simply so my character had a more cohesive and fleshed out backstory. Yes he’s my friend, yes I’m trying to hype him up, I’ll be honest, but I’ve been doing various role play games, both tabletop and online, and Leo is one of the best I’ve played with. If nothing else, he’s very creative, fair, and genuinely is interested in everyone having a fun time. Ask him about his Nilrim (hopefully I spelled it right) voice, he’s a dedicated GM who wants everyone to enjoy the setting, genre, story, and character development. I’d say that character development and interaction is one of his strongest points, and it’s nice that he will take time to highlight interactions between party members to make all the characters feel included, not just a participant.
