I'm pretty new to D&D and Char has been nothing but welcoming and patient with me and other players as we learn the game and the tools used to play it. It's absolutely clear how much they value inclusivity and creating a safe space for everyone involved. We have a mix of player personalities and styles at the table, and Char has been great about accommodating, encouraging, and collaborating with all of us to ensure we have an awesome time. The roleplay is compelling, the combat is fun, and the people are great. Beyond just the campaign itself, Char's discord server is also a very welcoming space full of incredible people. We're still pretty early in the campaign, but I look forward to playing with Char for a long time. In short: Amazing DM!

Short version: Kelly is fantastic and if you have an opportunity to have them as your DM, you should absolutely take it. Long version: Kelly is my first DM. I've been wanting to play D&D for years but finding a playgroup is difficult for me. I have a lot of social anxiety, and I was really uncertain about StartPlaying in general. But I gave it a chance, and Kelly has made me feel very welcome. They have been incredibly collaborative with developing my character in areas where I've been uncertain, they've been patient and helpful with learning D&D Beyond, and Roll20. They're really good at making sure everyone has time to shine at the table. It's been such a blast that I've signed up for a second campaign and a oneshot. I feel very fortunate to have found such a friendly and inviting group, and an excellent DM. I highly recommend giving Kelly a chance to be your DM too.

I played in a one shot run by Lou, and it was a good time. He was friendly and patient with walking players through how to use the virtual tabletop. He brought characters to life, I will remember the deckhand Axe for a long time. The battle scenarios were epic in scale.
