Issac was my first official introduction to the Call of Cthulhu system and i have loved every second of it ! We have built quite the story for our Masks of Nyarlathotep campaign where he incorporates our characters experiences and backstories with the cities and adventures we are in that makes the story more intriguing than I anticipated . Along with that , he helped me a lot during character creation in order to build a character I love playing every Sunday ! He has given me a system and a story that I have not been able to stop raving about since I started playing and I hope you get to experience it as well !

this review is long overdo but let that be a testament to how awestruck i've been thanks to David's endless creativity and dedication to his games . I havent been able to stop joining his postings because of just how fun he is as a dm and an individual and how much he's willing to work with his players to ensure everyone on his table has a great , unique story hook to whatever tale he is embodying. for beginner players , he demonstrates endless patience and really makes you feel like you're learning along with him as you explore new classes, worlds , etc . If you are an individual who needs a twist on your classic dnd adventures , he is there to provide . The sky is the limit and even then that's questionable when David is around . His NPCs breath life of their own with each their own voices , he ensures that each character has their moment to shine as the game proceeds and truly believes in the idea that fun is the name of the game . If you have the time , joining one of his campaigns will be an unforgettable time that you will certainly rave about to friends and family ( i know i do every week i get to play with him ) .

I had read reviews on Gawd Mode and his games when i first joined StartPlaying and I am so glad i followed them and I hope you would too ! He was an excellent DM that helped greatly with character creation for a brand new dungeon and dragons player like myself and allows one the space to learn through each of the sessions while telling a wonderful and compelling story to keep everybody engaged . There is never a dull moment and you come to love the npcs he creates for all the right reasons. There is always plenty of opportunities and room for group building through roleplay and interesting problem solving skills to overcome challenges. His imagination is great and its clearly evident in the games he sets up weekly and I can't wait to continue seeing the adventures that await us beyond space and time continuum !
