Donovan is a great DM with fantastic knowledge of the game rules. I was a more experienced player joining his table with two other people who were brand new to DnD 5e and he was able to get the new players comfortable with their characters and game mechanics while giving myself and the other player who has some experience more breathing room since we knew the rules. Very flexible for experienced and new players. His storytelling and world building was great too, I played a Planescape mini-campaign with him and his background in philosophy added a lot of good roleplay moments, space for character growth and arcs, and even though I was unfamiliar with Planescape he introduced everything naturally. NPCs are well fleshed-out and don't feel like copy/paste inserts, his voices are good, and he has a great sense of humor.
