Dean seems like a nice guy and runs a well organized game. He does struggle with communication so if you're expecting a GM that you can work through things with, be prepared for disappointment. Random anecdote from my time with Dean: During the onboarding session/character creation process, I proposed several of the options he offered in his character creation documentation and he kept declining them all for various story reasons. He apologized. I reassured him that it was okay and that I was happy to pick something else as I'd had lots of experience as a GM and was accustomed to needing to tell players No on occasion. I wasn't going to be one of those players that 'tries to beat him into submission with logic'. I picked another option and we moved on. Later the next day he sent me a DM rescinding my invitation to the game because that interaction made him feel like I wasn't a good fit for his style. He wasn't interested in discussing things further. He did offer me a refund for the onboarding time we spent together which was a classy move. /shrug Like I said, he seems like a nice guy and I appreciate his passion for his work. Be prepared to walk on eggshells if you play in his games.
