I have been playing in Fatebinder's games for almost a year now, and they have turned DnD into my favourite weekly activity, and a game that is truly special to me. From the combat music to the visual aids, there is no aspect of their games that Fatebinder does not carefully consider and implement into a session. They have the ability to weave character stories that feel special into their games, and they excel at telling stories that encompass both serious and light hearted moments. Their worlds feel populated by a realistic and wide cast of characters. On a more technical standpoint, they are familiar with the rules of DnD and knowledgeable about the system, but also allow for player creativity and are willing to bend the rules in favour of cool moments at appropriate times.

I play a VTM game with Mashby as the Storyteller on Tuesdays. This is my first time playing a game with a professional storyteller, and I couldn't be happier with my experience so far. I am still new to the system and TTRPGs in general, and Mashby is very patient and kind when it comes to explaining the rules. Our session zero was great, and the use of safety tools during games helps me have a great experience every session. I love the detail that they pour into the story, and I'd have to say my favourite part of the Chronicle so far are the NPCs. Each character feels alive and important, and I adore the nuance that each NPC gets that makes them feel like they're woven perfectly into the story. I also love that Mashby takes care to make sure that everyone gets a chance to shine during a session, even if they are a shy player and need some encouragement to act. I also believe they strike a great balance between playing by the system rules and allowing cool usage of rules as written. If you are looking for a GM that does fun world building and will handle you as a player with care, Mashby is the GM for you.
