Rice is incredible as a DM. I've played in a short D&D 5e campaign and a Daggerheart (Colossus of the Drylands) one-shot with him now and he always does a great job. He's got good knowledge of the rules, does an incredible job being inclusive and highlighting each of the players, and captivates with a great story.
