Egonaught runs a very thorough, well-thought-out campaign and has an excellent command of the rules. He plays firmly within the system’s boundaries, which gives the game a strong sense of structure, fairness, and internal logic. He doesn’t pull punches—player choices matter, and consequences follow naturally from those decisions. That said, he’s not adversarial. Egonaught is helpful and generous with information, making sure players have what they need to make informed choices. Success feels earned, and setbacks feel meaningful rather than arbitrary. If you’re looking for a more hardcore, high-stakes, and ultimately rewarding gameplay experience where your decisions truly count, Egonaught is absolutely worth trying.
Greg is a laid-back, player-focused GM who really understands how to let a table breathe. His style puts the spotlight on the characters, giving players plenty of space to express who they are and to shine in meaningful moments. Sessions feel collaborative rather than restrictive, with a strong emphasis on narrative flow and momentum. While Greg doesn’t get bogged down in heavy rules crunch, the rules are never ignored. Instead, he’s great at working within the framework of the system—finding fair, creative ways to make things work so the story keeps moving without breaking immersion. The result is a game that feels smooth, engaging, and player-driven. If you enjoy roleplay-forward games where your character choices matter and the story takes center stage—without sacrificing structure—Greg is an excellent GM to have at the table.
