Was during in-person play for the FFG Star Wars game. Damien was very knowledgeable about the ruleset, lore, and character creation. Helped walk us through making characters for this new system, become familiarized and comfortable using a new rpg system. He even helped us pick out some Star Wars lego mini figs that suited our characters and we used them as tokens for encounters on taking place on battle mats. Damien had tons of mini-figs and using them during the game session with his fun voices helped us feel immersed in the game. The campaign we played with him felt cool, a really nice atmosphere. He offered us plenty of heroic opportunities for us to thwart the empire that made our victories and defeats feel epic.

Organized, Well-prepared, excellent story teller and game manager. You would not be disappointed to have Joe as your DM in whatever game setting he is running. He has extensive knowledge in multiple worlds/settings/systems. He has run AD&D, 3.0, 3.5, 4th, 5th; Legend of the Five Rings 1st, 2nd, 4th edition & Living Rokugan; Pathfinder (all editions), Starfinder, Esper Genesis, Living Greyhawk. Provided fair and balanced scenarios/encounters. Whether it was modules/adventure paths/homebrewed content every game was expertly run and had a great narrative. Brings/supplies visual aids, combat maps, dialogue, and complex combat strategies. If you are in his game you should be confident that you will have an excellent and fun adventure. A+, Max 10 rating, 5 Stars. The only bad thing? Not enough free-time to join more of his games.
