Very inclusive DM, queer-friendly game, mindful of phobias and boundaries. Story was run well and DM was very willing to work with players for interesting character builds and moves, and excited for us when things went well for the group. When a minor problem arose, DM was fantastic at setting boundaries swiftly and respectfully so all at the table felt safe and listened-to. The game itself was immersive and great fun! Clear DCs were given for more minor rolls, while other more important DCs were left as a mystery, and I rather liked that concept. The NPCs all felt well-rounded, with their own motivations, and the gameplay was challenging but not overwhelming. Even if we lost battles, it felt like satisfying and realistic progress, not frustrating - which I think was helped immensely by a strong sense that the DM was rooting for the party and on our side. Any rules confusion was quickly solved, either with clear 5e rules or with a discussion about how the rules might be able to work a little differently in this instance. I would highly recommend Badger as a DM!
